The Fox Inn is delighted to bring you a brand new service to make life a little easier in these uncertain times…
Our main bar has been turned into a small village shop where you can come for all your essential items: fruit, veg and fresh meat, store cupboard staples such as pasta, chopped tomatoes and baked beans, loo roll, bread, milk, eggs, cheese, even ice cream! We also have wine and bottled beers and are now stocking some basic cleaning products too.
Following the government’s social distancing guidelines, entrance will be strictly controlled. Customers, entering one at a time, will be provided with disposable gloves while shopping and payments will be by card only. We aim to offer local people a safe and friendly shopping experience where you can pick up a few essentials without the drama of the supermarkets! We have plenty of parking and a queueing system which also adheres to social distancing guidelines.
From Wednesday 15th April we will also be joined by The Cheese & Pie Man, a regular at the Matching Farmer’s Market, he’ll be here on Wednesdays selling from his van in the large pub car park.
These are strange and uncertain times indeed and we can only hope to ride it out by doing everything we can to adapt to each new challenge. The Gibson’s have run The Fox Inn for 18 years and we don’t intend to stop now. Click on the link below to our Facebook page to keep up to date!
